Privacy Policy - Vercelly

Vercelly is a macOS menu bar application that displays your Vercel deployment status. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

Vercelly does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with third parties. The app does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

Data Storage

  • Vercel API Tokens: Your personal access tokens are stored securely in the macOS Keychain on your device. They are never transmitted anywhere other than to the official Vercel API (api.vercel.com).
  • Project Data: Project names, deployment statuses, and related metadata fetched from the Vercel API are cached locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is only used to display your deployment information.
  • Favicons: The app fetches website favicons via Google's public favicon service (google.com/s2/favicons) to display project icons. Only the domain name is sent in these requests.

Network Requests

The app makes network requests solely to:

  1. Vercel API (api.vercel.com) — to authenticate and fetch your project and deployment data using your personal access token.
  2. Google Favicon Service (google.com/s2/favicons) — to fetch website icons for display purposes.

No other network requests are made.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Data Sharing

Your data is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party.

Data Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. Removing your account from the app deletes the associated token from Keychain and cached project data from the local database. Uninstalling the app removes all remaining data.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
